Jodi turned the radio volume up as this song came on and we were driving through Hickory Hills. That was the music highlight for the day.
Kind of strange in that matter.
I had a CD playing earlier in the day while I did some random tasks in the basement, but I couldn’t have told you what songs played. I know it was a Modest Mouse album.
We drove to town and back with music playing, but nothing caught my ear.
After that, I had it on while doing the treasurer’s work for the church and packing a lunch, and again, I barely noticed the sounds.
The memory of the day was her turning up the volume just a bit for this one song. A song about riding a train high on cocaine. Pretty much the most unlikely thing that Jodi would ever do. Yet, I know she likes this song.
The rest of the afternoon I
watched the Bears and then messed around connecting a Roku to our TV and then
figuring out what Roku is.
